XIENS nylon filter membrane for cleanliness testing are critical quality control tools for technical cleanliness applications in precision filtration of automotive components, liquid cooling systems, medical devices and other related fields. Cleanliness directly determines the functional performance of end products. After particulate contaminants are intercepted on the membrane surface, the size, mass and composition of these contaminants are analyzed via gravimetric method, instrumental analysis and other analytical approaches.

| What factors should be considered when selecting a filter membrane for ISO16232 techncial cleanliness testing? |
1. Chemical compatibility with commonly used cleaning agents.
2. Whether curling occurs during the drying process after filtration, which is related to the shrinkage rate of the membrane material and the membrane manufacturing process.
3. The membrane can easily achieve constant weight: the weight difference before and after filtration (when filtering clean cleaning solution that has been filtered through a 0.45μm filter following the standard procedure) shall be less than 0.5mg.
4. Mixed cellulose membranes are not recommended when the component contains excessive grease.
5. Grid membranes may produce reflection phenomena in microscopic particle counting methods. It is recommended to select a cleanliness analyzer equipped with a light filter to avoid misidentifying grid reflection as metal particles, which would incorrectly lower the qualification result of the sample.
